About Second Sawdust

Second Sawdust is an independent woodworking publication focused on practical small shops, sensible tool choices, organization, and woodworking in retirement.

What we cover

We write for people who want a useful shop without treating square footage or tool count as a competition. Our guides focus on planning, layout, storage, workflow, and the decisions that come before another tool purchase.

How we handle product coverage

When a seller makes a claim about price, savings, features, or results, we treat it as a seller claim unless we have independent support for it. We do not invent personal testing, ratings, testimonials, or results.

Affiliate relationships
